Clothing size tags are labels or tags on which the size of a garment is indicated. They can be sewn on or attached to the garment with glue or hot melt. The size of a garment tag depends on the country and region of manufacture, and can be identified by letters, numbers or an alphanumeric combination.
The availability of size tags for clothes is an important element for consumers to get the right size for the product they need. The size of the tag is usually indicated according to international standards and can be specified in several languages.
In some cases, clothes size tags may be replaced by special tags or labels that are placed on shop shelves or on hangers in fitting rooms. These tags usually show the dimensions of the items on display, so that the customer can quickly find the right size.
