Macramé Lace Fabric for Wedding Dresses — Wholesale
What macramé lace is
Macramé is lace built from knotted threads rather than woven ones. The threads are noticeably thicker than in classic lace, the knots stay visible, and the surface keeps a three-dimensional relief you can feel with your hand. That texture is what separates macramé from guipure and from Chantilly: it reads as hand-made even at a distance, which is why it carries boho, rustic and romantic bridal gowns so well.
What Inter Tex stocks
- Corded macramé — a twisted cord runs through the pattern, adding relief and dimensional stability.
- Embroidered macramé — floral or geometric embroidery worked into the knotted base, for gowns that need ornament without losing the texture.
- Plain macramé — the knot structure on its own, for bodices, sleeves and overlays.
- Matte macramé — a separate section of the catalogue, restrained and suited to classic bridal and evening wear.
Widths run from 10 to 150 cm, so the same material works as a decorative border and as the main fabric for a bodice, a skirt or a full overlay. The lace is produced in Europe from hypoallergenic yarns and comes with quality certification, which matters when you sew for clients.
