Chantilly lace is made on a delicate mesh base, which preserves the lightness and semi-transparency of the fabric. The pattern is represented by a dense floral ornament with small plant elements that form a continuous pattern across the entire width of the lace. A thin cord softly outlines the contours of the flowers and leaves, adding depth to the pattern. The edges of the fabric have a scalloped finish with smooth waves, which does not require additional processing when sewing.

Chantilly lace is ideal for sewing wedding dresses, sleeves, corsets, or skirts. It can be used as a top layer to create a transparency effect in the décolleté or back area. It goes well with satin, chiffon, and mesh.
