Adhesive web tape (hot-melt fusible tape) is a dry layer of polyamide adhesive with a mesh structure, applied to a paper backing. It is used for bonding fabric components during sewing, such as reinforcing garment fronts, pant hems, skirt bottoms, cuffs, collars, and more.

Application method: Place the tape with the adhesive side against the wrong side of the fabric, paper side facing up. Press with an iron at moderate pressure for 10–15 seconds at a temperature of up to 130 °C (or up to 90 °C for delicate fabrics). Let it cool, then remove the paper backing — the adhesive will remain on the fabric. Place the second fabric layer on top and iron again. Result: the tape securely bonds the pieces together without affecting the fabric's elasticity.
