Whalebone (bone) is used to stiffen seams in dresses, corsets, and other garments that require stiff, embossed seams. It perfectly replaces the metal bones previously used in corsets that require medium-level tightening and density. It is also used in corset garments without lining, where no tightening is needed, but only the need to give and maintain a certain shape.

It cannot be sewn on; usually, whalebone can be inserted or sewn into the darts of the bodice in dresses, as well as into the darts and seams on the waistband of skirts or trousers with a high corsage belt. Made of 100% new polypropylene, without any additives or recycled materials. It is a pure, unused material with no impurities from old or recycled fibers.
