Silicone tape is a soft, flexible, thin transparent band made of 100% silicone. Does not require pre-treatment before use. Deformed by contact with a hot iron, so the product with it should be ironed through the ironer at a low temperature (not exceeding 110°C).

Silicone tape is used for: - stabilizing oblique cuts of products; 

- creation of "quick" small gathers, which are formed after the tape, stretched during sewing, returns to its original position; - fixation of the edge of lace or fine mesh; - for sealing seams when sewing biflex swimwear.

Silicone is a material that is sensitive to needle punctures. The more perforations in the tape, the less durable it will become. Therefore, when sewing, a thin braid should be placed so that it falls completely under the overlock stitching.
