When you start looking for Chantilly lace, the first real decision is not the type but the colour. Why colour decides how the dress looks
Lace is always seen against its lining. The same Chantilly over a white lining looks cool; over a champagne lining it turns warm and expensive-looking. The colour of the lace and the colour of the lining are chosen together, never separately.
White vs ivory Chantilly: the difference the camera shows
Pure white (white / optic) is graphic and cool — it suits minimalist dresses and very fair skin. Ivory has a touch of yellow in it and is the shade brides prefer, because it does not blow out under flash and flatters almost any complexion. If you are undecided, ivory is the safe choice nine times out of ten.
Champagne, nude and blush — the warm shades
