Crinoline Hoops — the Structure Behind Spectacular Volume
The princess skirt — that spectacular volume defining a storybook bridal gown — is not created by tulle. It is created by the hoops hidden inside the crinoline. Without them, any amount of tulle falls soft and loses dramatic effect. With them, the skirt gains that perfect round volume that fills the entire scene at the bride's entrance.
